Hyannis: Board Games

The Hyannis Public Library will be hosting a Game Night on the first Tuesday of the month from 5:30 - 7:45 p.m.  Are you looking to learn how to play board games that go beyond the mainstream? Join Matt Donle, board game enthusiast, and learn some designer, hobby and other niche type games. This program is open to adults, teens and children ages 8 and up with a responsible adult.

Our series, "Let's Talk About It: Making Sense of the American Civil War" discussion series has been fully subscribed.

This five-part reading and discussion series led by Dr. Sheldon Hackney, Boies Professor of U.S. History at the University of Pennsylvania, will probe meanings of the Civil War that are “hidden in plain sight” behind the key questions and main characters so familiar to us.
Each session will begin with a short lecture followed by a discussion of that session's topic and readings.
